STUD FEES AND SCHEDULE OF COSTS
FOR ORDERING SEMEN AND FAQs:

Thank you for choosing one of our stallions.  We have provided the following information to make the process go as smoothly as possible.  Please do not hesitate to call us with any questions regarding our product.  Our office hours are from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm PST.  If you call after hours, please leave messages and return phone #s.  We will get back to you as soon as possible. 

PAPERWORK NEEDED PRIOR TO ORDERING SEMEN:

1. Contract filled out and signed - Download Contract
2. Monies paid in full
3. Mare health form completed
4. Copy of Mare’s registration papers
5. Negative uterine culture, and if necessary uterine biopsy results
6. Photo of the Mare
7. Mare’s show record if applicable
8. Name and address of the mare’s veterinarian
9. Address of nearest Airport and its phone #.

METHOD OF PAYMENT:

Check or Money order made out to Linda Goorigian/Goorigian Farms
Check must include:  stud fee, booking fee, service fee and Equitainer deposit.
Bank direct deposit (Please call for bank & routing numbers)

ORDERING FRESH SEMEN:

Stallions are collected Monday, Wednesday, & Fridays. 
If semen is needed on other days, please contact Goorigian Farms for availability.
Please contact Goorigian Farms at beginning of heat cycle and 36 hours prior to needing semen.
Goorigian Farms ships Federal Express & UPS to your Veterinarian or to your farm in care of your Vet.

Please include the following information when ordering semen:

1. Your Name and address
2. Your phone number
3. Your vet’s Name, address, and phone number
4. Name of Mare
5. Name of Stallion
6. Date of semen arrival
7. Method of shipment of semen
8. Destination airport

COLLECTION FEES:

 the following applies--

1. $250 veterinarian fees per collection
2. collection/shipping materials & shipping fees on all collections
3. A $15/day late charge shall be applied for containers that are not returned within 8 days from date of shipment from Goorigian Farms.

DEPOSIT:

At end of breeding season, if mare is in foal, Goorigian Farms will return the $350.00 Equitainer rental deposit (providing it is returned in a timely fashion and in good shape with all parts.  Please be advised that insuring for loss or damage at time of return shipping is advisable) & any remaining SERVICE Fee not used.  Container rental deposit of $350.00 (for lost or damaged container)

*$350 container rental deposit shall be refunded at end of current breeding season or applied on account.

• If mare is not in foal, Goorigian Farms will credit owner for funds not used and invoice for the amount needed to maintain a SERVICE Fee of $600 to rebreed the mare the following year.
• If at anytime the full SERVICE Fee on deposit is used for subsequent shipments of semen an additional deposit of $600 will be required before any additional shipments are sent.
• No shipments will be made unless fees are paid in full!
• Any damage to the Equitainers will be subtracted from service fee/container rental deposit held on account with Goorigian Farms.

RE-BREEDING:(FRESH SEMEN ONLY)

• If mare fails to get pregnant in the first year of contract, mare owner may come back for the following season ONLY.
• Any additional deposits/service fee must be paid for the 2nd year prior to any shipment of semen.
• Goorigian Farms must have a new negative uterine culture and may require a uterine biopsy.
• You may switch mares for the 2nd season (all health papers, registration paper copy, photos and vet cultures apply)
• There are no refunds after 2nd season.

 All our stallions are OCD free and EVA negative.

A 10% discount on the Stud Fee (fresh semen only) for premium mares, Zangersheide approved and registered mares, multiple mares, and mares with proven show (jumping: mini/grand prix) records.  Show records must be submitted at time of booking.  This 10% discount does not apply to 2nd year of contract, rebreedings,  substitution mares, or embryo transfers.

A 25% charge of Stud Fee will be added for each embryo transfer mare used.
If 2nd embryo is recovered, an additional stud fee (50% of stud fee) and handling fee must be paid to Goorigian Farms (this fee applies to each and every subsequent embryo recovered).

STALLION PRICES:

Abracadabra Z                  $ 1500.00      (Fresh semen)
Lupus Z                               $ 1500.00      (Fresh semen)

$500.00 Booking fee per stallion; Booking fee is nonrefundable.
$600.00 service fee for vet collection & materials fees and one-time use shipping materials and shipping costs
$350.00 Equitainer rental fee.

Due at time of Booking:
$500.00 booking fee
All mare health papers, show records, photos, copy of registration papers, and completed and signed Breeding contract.

Due at time of breeding prior to first shipment:
$2,450.00 which includes: $1,500.00 Stud Fee, $600 Service Fee, and $350 Equitainer rental deposit.
